Difficulties in learning a foreign language:

All of us look for perfection in our work. Whether, it is a school work or it's in our career. Searching and updating all the new terms will need mastery in the international language "English". From the beginning of my career, I saw many students excelled in learning new language, while others were struggling to understand a simple 3 comprehension lines text. Learners prefer to take broad courses for one year in Britain or U.S.A instead of listening to the English teacher classes in their schools.
# Is it the curriculum, the teachers or the students themselves?
Why is it difficult to learn new language?
Let's ask ourselves this question to extract the answer.

Very interesting topic Manal..I am one of those people that encourages students to take extra courses in a foriegn language ..after all practice makes perfect and One valid thing about language acquisition is that you have to be exposed to the language ; live and breath it..thats when you have no other option but to use that language whereas a class atmospere limits the teacher and students to the areas being taught ( grammar , spelling ..etc..) for a pass /fail outcome.

Thank you Manal.
This is a very important issue to consider.Language difficulties which student face can be an obstacle in their way. The fear of failing in learning it is contagious . i think the teacher ability to break this fear is the first step in the thousand mile journey.
